From the surprising scenes of our own gold goddesses posing as human statues at break with Cornetto’s for sale to the elated atmosphere of lunch. Italy Day’s reception on 13th Feb has blown away teachers and students alike.
“I enjoyed all the games and prizes” said Ben H, 7E. Charlotte Reed and Olivia Harker (who valiantly battled through the cold winds in white robes and gold body paint) told us “We really enjoyed embracing vvvvthe Italian culture”. Students also expressed joy at the many activities going on during lunch, including Artists Corner in the canteen and ‘All Roads Lead to Rome’ in the theatre foyer. All in all, Italy Day will be a day we can look back in fondly in the future.
