The West Bridgford School is seeking a dynamic and forward thinking Deputy Head of PE with responsibility for Girls PE. The person we are seeking will be an outstanding teacher across the ability and age range; be able to promote innovation in teaching and learning and have a sense of vision for the future of PE. The person will be able to teach in a challenging and inspiring way; maintain and expand the current extra-curricular provision; and fully committed to helping students achieve high standards of success.

FULL TIME TEACHER OF DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY
FOR SEPTEMBER 2013
The West Bridgford School is a highly successful and heavily over-subscribed 11-18 comprehensive school with a strong academic tradition, and we now have an opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher of Design and Technology.
The successful candidate will be able to teach all aspects of Resistant Materials at KS3 and must be able to teach Graphic Products at least to GCSE level. The ability to teach Resistant Materials to GCSE level is desirable.
The school has a large, stable and successful Design and Technology Department which offers a broad curriculum with all our GCSE courses being offered for study to Advanced level. The opportunity exists, therefore, to broaden and deepen teaching experience in the future within a team of extremely supportive colleagues.
The appointed person will be fully committed to helping students achieve high standards of academic success with the position being suitable for either new entrants to the profession or experienced teachers.
