FULL TIME GENERAL CARETAKER / CLEANER

Scale 1 Point 9 – Salary £15375 per annum – 37 hours per week (shift rota)

The West Bridgford School requires, a General Caretaker / Cleaner to work as part of the Site Team. The post-holder will need to be extremely reliable as the duties include being responsible for opening and closing the school on a two week shift rota (please see the Job Description within the Application Pack for details of hours of work).

There will be a range of cleaning, litter picking and caretaking duties. The post-holder will be required to occasionally assist with room setting and car parking duties for school events, and will be required to undertake minor handyman duties.

PART TIME CLEANING OPERATIVE (15 Hours per Week)

Scale 1 Point 9 – Salary £15,375 (pro-rata); actual salary will be £6233 per annum 

The West Bridgford School requires, as soon as possible, a Cleaning Operative to work 15 hours per week (from either 5:00am to 8:00am or 3:00pm to 6:00pm), Monday to Friday.The post holder will need to be flexible, able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

HEAD OF ENGLISH

FOR JANUARY 2018

Salary: Dependent on Experience £22,467 to £38,250 plus TLR 1B (£9,380)

The West Bridgford School has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Teacher of English to join and lead an outstanding department in a high-performing and over-subscribed school.

The person we are seeking will be an outstanding teacher across the ability and age range, able to promote innovation in teaching and learning and work in a supportive way with colleagues. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Trust Director for English who works 50% within the English department at West Bridgford School. They will, however, enjoy a high degree of autonomy working within the Trust’s strategic direction for moving the department even further forward.  We are offering excellent professional development opportunities, the chance to work as part of a team committed to continuous improvement, a positive learning ethos with all abilities of students and the opportunity to teach A Level English.
